Preserving Colchester's heritage for tomorrow, the Colchester Historical Museum and its archives is located in Provincial Normal School Science Building constructed in 1900. The museum's displays relate to the county's history such as early Mi'kmaq, society, Acadian farmer, settlers who arrived after 1700, and a large tapestry created by local needle artists depicting Truro's history. Visitors will also see a variety of temporary and traveling exhibits on a number of topics.
