Mastodon Ridge

Mastodon Ridge, Stewiacke, Nova Scotia - Halfway between the North Pole and the Equator

The giant mastodon replica found at Exit 11 off Highway 102 in Stewiacke is hard to miss! It models the male juvenile Mastodon whose bones were unearthed in 1991 at the nearby National Gypsum Quarry in Milford, Nova Scotia.
