Oktoberfest, Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia

The Annual Oktoberfest in Tatamagouche Nova Scotia draws 3000 party-goers to its small Northumberland Shore community on the Sunrise Trail (Route 6). The Tatamagouche Oktoberfest is presented by the North Shore Bavarian Society and has been a Nova Scotia tradition on the last weekend in September for many years.

Events include a Beer Garden on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon plus a Dance on Saturday evening - all featuring world-class oompah bands. Events take place at the beautifully decorated North Shore Recreation Centre in Tatamagouche.

The concession booths range from German sausages and cuisine to delicious cheesecakes and souvenirs. Many beverages are available from Domestic and German beers to local wines and imported spirits - including the infamous Schnapps Bar. Soft drinks and coffee are also available.

Tickets go on sale the 1st of July and reach capacity very quickly... so purchase your tickets early.
