Stewiacke located in the center of the province of Nova Scotia,
Canada at the entrance to the beautiful Stewiacke valley where
Indian trails crossed both the Stewiacke and Shubenacadie Rivers. Surrounded by natural recreational resources, the tourist attractions are numerous. Picnic areas are available at the Stewiacke River park (5 miles) and the surrounding area is excellent for those interested in fishing, hunting, canoeing, bird - watching and scenic drives (especially in the Fall). ![]() The Stewiacke River is unique in that it has been one of the three top salmon producing rivers in the province for several years. An extra bonus attraction is the view from the Cadell Rapids Look off (6 miles) where the tidal waters from the Bay of Fundy travel up the Shubenacadie River. |
