This picturesque park offers tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, a little league ballfield, a playground and a water spray park, a bandshell, picnic tables and a cook-out pavilion. The Lower Park is the focal point for many town gatherings and festivals.

Come enjoy the jewel of Truro. At Victoria Park, you can get away from it all, while still a stone's throw away from it all. The park boasts of 1000 acres of pristine forests, the 1.6 km long Dr. Jim Vibert trail as well as the many biking trails. The look off at the top of Wood Street gives you a panoramic view
of the Salmon and North River valleys. Beyond the lower park is the natural parkland with its rustic beauty. It has walking trails beside the brook as well as at the top of the gorge. Pictured above is the world famous Jacob's Ladder. There are 200 steps to the top of the rocky gorge. |
